Itinerary (Example Route)
The exact route may vary due to weather and lake traffic, but a typical 1–2 hour cruise includes:
- Departure from Como harbor – Meet your skipper at the dock, board the boat, and receive a short safety and itinerary briefing.
- Blevio & lakeside villages – Cruise along the shoreline past Blevio and other small hamlets, with commentary about daily life on the lake.
- Mandarin Oriental & waterfront hotels – See one of the area’s most prestigious lakefront hotels and its gardens from the water.
- Cernobbio & Villa d’Este – Glide past the elegant town of Cernobbio and admire the manicured grounds of the legendary Villa d’Este.
- Historic villas along the shoreline – Sail by residences such as Villa Erba and other classic estates that line the banks of Lake Como.
- Scenic photo stops – Pause in panoramic spots for photos of the mountains, villages, and grand hotels.
- Aperitif on board – Enjoy prosecco or a soft drink; in colder months mulled wine or hot chocolate may be served to keep you warm.
- Return to Como – Cruise back toward Como’s waterfront, passing the lakeside promenade and historic skyline.
This itinerary is an example only and may be adjusted by the skipper according to lake conditions.
Winter & Christmas Option (Extended Experience)
During the festive season, you can turn this shared cruise into a longer half‑day Christmas experience that combines the boat tour, Como’s seasonal market, and a visit to Brunate by funicular.
- Evening or late‑afternoon cruise – Start with roughly one hour on the lake, sipping prosecco or mulled wine while you admire villas and waterfronts decorated with winter lights.
- Christmas market time – After disembarking, enjoy free time at Como’s Christmas stalls, where local crafts, snacks, and light displays create a festive atmosphere.
- Warm drinks at a partner chalet – Visit a cozy wooden chalet near the market area, where a hot drink such as Vin Brulè or hot chocolate is typically included.
- Brunate funicular ride – Use your priority ticket for the funicular up to Brunate and enjoy sweeping views over Como and the lake, especially atmospheric at sunset or after dark.
The extended Christmas schedule usually lasts several hours; exact timings and inclusions depend on your chosen date and time slot.

Meeting Point
Location: Sant’Agostino dock, close to Piazza Cavour in the heart of Como.
Arrive at the pier a little before your scheduled departure time. A staff member will be on hand near the dock to greet you, check your booking, and direct you to the correct boat.
- By train: Como Lago Nord station is only a few minutes’ walk from the meeting point. Como San Giovanni station is about 10–15 minutes away on foot.
- By car: Parking around the pier is limited and mostly paid. We recommend using nearby public car parks such as Autosilo facilities or Viale Geno parking and walking to the dock.
- By bus: Several local bus routes stop at or around Piazza Cavour; from there it is a short walk to Molo Sant’Agostino.
Good to Know
- Wear comfortable clothing and non‑slip shoes; in winter you’ll need warm layers, gloves, and a hat for the boat and Brunate viewpoint.
- The experience involves some walking around the harbor and, for the Christmas option, at the market and in Brunate.
- In case of poor weather or rough lake conditions, the schedule or route may be adapted, or the tour may be rescheduled.
- Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult; contact us for guidance on age suitability.
- If you are travelling with large luggage, consider using a luggage storage service near Como Lago station so you can move more freely.
